Merino Comeback wool is very soft, which makes it excellent for garments, including those worn next to the skin. It’s also a great insulator as the fibers are naturally crimped and trap pockets of warm air. Ashlin made this yarn out of appreciation for the natural colors of undyed wool.

Merino Comeback sheep come from a Merino/British long wool cross that is then bred with another Merino sheep. These sheep are better adapted to damp climates and their wool has some of the characteristics of both the Merino (softness and crimp) and the long wool breed (fiber length and strength).
