Passenger, Original Painting on Wood Panel | Miles Browne
Passenger, Original Painting on Wood Panel | Miles Browne
Passenger. A painting of a passenger pigeon on a branch.
This painting was inspired by Martha, the last living passenger pigeon: she died in captivity in 1914. Once the most numerous birds in North America, they were hunted to extinction while deforestation caused the disappearance of their natural habitat. This painting is part of Miles’ ongoing investigation into human impacts on the environment.
This original artwork is hand painted directly on a ready to hang wood panel, no framing required. Meant for any household and any room, these art pieces are intended to be displayed in real life spaces.
