Dish in Gesture Stone finish over Chocolate Stoneware.
The full surface of these dishes are a layered white stoneware slip with gestural etchings carved into the surface. The interior food-surface has a thin coating of a clear-sheen glaze, while the outer rim and exterior of the pot is left unglazed. This dish has layered elements of texture, while being fully suitable for food serving.
6 1/4” in diameter x 1 3/4” tall
Dishwasher and microwave safe, hand wash recommended.
Lightly oil when color starts to dull and to help prevent staining. Our Gesture Stone finish requires extra care when washing. While we appreciate a patina that develops with use and time, please be aware that this finish can become tinted by prolonged exposure to highly pigmented foods or beverages.

*Please Note: Sage’s Porcelain and Stone finishes are a slip finish- which is a super matte, clay finish. Because of the way the slip adheres to the main clay body, it will visually separate in any tight creases or angles. (For example, around handles or spouts.) This is not a functional issue and these are not cracks in the pot, but an aspect to be embraced as this is the only way to create this finish.
